“Botswana needs to be proud of its entrepreneurs” – Launchit CEO

“Often times when we see entrepreneurs in Botswana not performing like entrepreneurs around the world, we tend to blame them, when we don’t see that the little they have done so far is the best they could do at this time”

For decades, conversations around youth entrepreneurship in Africa has been pointing fingers and calling out young entrepreneurs for their low performance and failure of their businesses as well as being compared to entrepreneurs from around the world. Attending the Africa Youth Entrepreneurship Summit (AYES) of 2019, the CEO of Launchit International Mr. Goitsemang Khutsafalo pointed out why Botswana needs to be more product of its entrepreneurs.

Mr. Khutsafalo highlighted the importance of embracing the culture of celebrating the efforts of Botswana entrepreneurs towards improving the entrepreneurship culture of Botswana, rather than investing time and resources on promoting the weaknesses and shortcomings of our entrepreneurs.
